If this is an emergency

Koriva does not call emergency services. Call your country’s emergency number now: 112 in Europe and Türkiye, 911 in the US and Canada.

Common problems

Location isn’t updating

Location permission must be “Allow all the time” (Android) or “Always” (iPhone). On Android, battery saving and some manufacturers’ background limits can stop the app; follow the “Keep protection running” steps in the app. On iPhone, swiping the app away stops continuous location. The Family devices screen shows when each phone last reported.

Notifications don’t arrive

The phone’s notification permission must be on; Do Not Disturb and Focus modes can silence notifications. Important events still appear in the Incident Center even if a notification doesn’t arrive.

I can’t see my child’s calls and messages on iPhone

Apple does not let apps read the call history or other apps’ messages. These features work only on Android.

The web filter isn’t working

Only one VPN can be active on a phone at a time; if another VPN is turned on, the filter stops. On Android, turn off “Private DNS” if it has been set to a server by hand.

I want to cancel my subscription

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Koriva.
• Android: Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Koriva.

For faster help, include your phone model, operating system version, Koriva version (Settings → Help and about) and what happened. Please don’t send locations, message content or personal information about your child; if we need something, we will say what.

If you think Koriva is being used without your permission

Koriva does not hide. If you see the Koriva app, a persistent Koriva notification, a VPN icon, or accessibility or notification access granted to Koriva on your phone, and you did not set it up:

• You can turn location sharing off in the app or uninstall it.
• If you don’t feel safe, talk to someone you trust or a local support line before making changes.
• Report the misuse to azadbilek34@gmail.com; we will review the account and close it if needed.

Reporting a security issue

If you have found a security vulnerability in Koriva, please write to azadbilek34@gmail.com with the details and don’t share it publicly until it is fixed. We are grateful for reports made in good faith and will get back to you.
